We are excited to present a brand-new international TV event on the topic “Evidence in Knee Surgery” in cooperation with Intercongress. Our scientific chairs Professor Peter Angele and Professor Philipp Niemeyer compiled an outstanding programme on the broad spectrum of cartilage repair of the knee joint in a unique evidence-based case discussion format.

Participate post-live and watch 4 exciting sessions on 8 simple and complex cases with 16 different treatment approaches presented by a panel of renowned international experts and backed up by scientific evidence. Not only the type of cartilage treatment is of great importance but also to address the underlying pathology for an optimal outcome for patient and surgeon. Due to the demographic change and higher sportive demands in the elderly, more borderline cases with meniscus deficiency and multiple defects occur and request treatment. And what about relevant focal cartilage defects discovered by chance in asymptomatic patients? Get practical tips & tricks from top-class cartilage surgeons when they discuss carefully selected cases and lead you through consistent pathways of diagnostics and preoperative workup to define the optimal treatment options. As usual, the event will be highly interactive - discuss the presented cases with the community, vote for treatment options and ask your questions to the experts.

The post-live was certified with 6 CME credits by the German Medical Association. It is specifically designed for orthopedic surgeons specialized in knee surgery and cartilage repair. AGA Curriculum participants had the opportunity to earn additional theoretical hours. The requirement for the curriculum is the successful completion of the CME quiz.

As always, the event will be highly interactive – ask your questions to our experts and take part in the discussion via live voting.

The event is specifically designed for orthopedic surgeons specialized in shoulder surgery.
