This first half time will deep dive into the long-term effects of high metal ion concentrations for synovial joints, the soft-tissue envelope of large joints, for adjacent bone and for the entire organism and what contributes to corrosion and apply preventive action. Join experts Professor Carsten Perka and Professor Michael Morlock to analyze this topic from both a surgical and engineering point of view.

The second half features Dr. R. Michael Meneghini and Prof. Luigi Zagra explaining the concepts behind outpatient arthroplasty with its advantages and challenges. The panel of international experts will engage in captivating discussions and reflect on their personal preferences on outpatient arthroplasty.
