In collaboration with the Federation of Orthopaedic and Trauma Trainees in Europe (FORTE), FORTE x Winglet Around the Globe connects residents and early-career surgeons with experts worldwide. Through live presentations, interactive voting and Q&A, the series explores different approaches to clinical practice, education and professional development across regions and healthcare systems.

Join the first episode, “Ortho Insights: In Conversation with Prof. Gazi Huri,” live on Monday, 2 November 2026, from 18:00 – 19:00 CET. Guided by the theme “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step,” Prof. Gazi Huri, Dimitra Melissaridou and Filipe Lima Santos explore what drives surgical excellence and what orthopaedic training should prioritise by 2035.

Prof. Huri shares his journey from orthopaedic surgeon to mentor and international educator, offering insights into Aspetar’s multidisciplinary approach to teamwork, innovation, research and education. A clinical case brings these ideas into practice, connecting surgical strategy with the decisions that shape patient care. The conversation also explores mentorship, leadership and preparing future generations of surgeons.

Take part in the interactive live stream, bring your questions to the Q&A, and gain impactful perspectives to help shape your own clinical practice and career.
