Ab diesem Zeitpunkt können Sie das Wissensquiz innerhalb von 12 Monaten absolvieren und 3 CME-Punkte erwerben.

The second webinar on "Knee Replacement in the Aging Athlete" will be live broadcasted on Thursday, 11 September 2025 at 11:00 UTC. Organized by the ISAKOS Knee Arthroplasty Committee in collaboration with the Asia-Pacific Knee, Arthroscopy, Arthroplasty, Shoulder and Sports Medicine Society (APKASS), and chaired by Dr. Magaly Iñiguez and Dr. Michael Tim Yun Ong, the session explores knee arthroplasty strategies for the aging athlete, with a focus on implant selection, return to sport, fixation techniques, and recovery pathways. Delivered through focused presentations and expert panel discussions, the webinar offers evidence-based, clinically relevant takeaways for orthopedic practice.

Research enthusiasts watch out! We are excited to present our Winglet Journal Club partner edition in cooperation with Enovis, which explores the role of soft tissue balancing in achieving optimal joint alignment, stability, and functional outcomes in total knee arthroplasty in varus knees.

We will kick things off at 19:00 CET with a concise 10-minute introduction, summarizing the latest scientific findings to give you the key insights right from the start - this will take place directly in the live Zoom meeting. Following that, you will have the chance to dive into a discussion with leading orthopedic surgeons, Professor Roland Becker (Brandenburg, Germany) and Professor Andreas Niemeier (Reinbek, Germany) - ask your most burning questions and get direct answers from the experts.

Erstmals in 2025 präsentieren wir AGA Ready for Surgery – ein neues digitales Format in Kooperation mit den AGA Residents, das Euch Schritt für Schritt an den OP heranführt – anschaulich, praxisnah und interaktiv. Im Fokus stehen reale OP-Videos und der direkte Austausch mit erfahrenen Operateur:innen.

Gemeinsam mit dem/der Operateur:in und einem Mitglied der AGA Residents könnt Ihr offene Fragen klären, operative Techniken vertiefen und wertvolle Einblicke in den klinischen Alltag gewinnen.

Im Sinne des bewährten Prinzips "Erst der Input – dann die Diskussion" startet jede Session mit einem 20-minütigen OP-Video, bevor um 19:20 Uhr die interaktive Live-Diskussion "Meet the Surgeon" per Zoom beginnt. Die Veranstaltung findet jeweils von 19:00 – 20:00 Uhr (CET) statt und wird aufgezeichnet, sodass die Inhalte auch nachträglich abgerufen werden können.
