Die Gesellschaft für Arthroskopie und Gelenkchirurgie (AGA) startet ab März immer am ersten Dienstag des Monats eine Online-Fortbildungsserie unter dem Titel "AGAnywhere Monthly – Die monatliche Expertenserie der AGA". Freuen Sie sich auf ein abwechslungsreiches Jahresprogramm mit renommierten Experten unter der wissenschaftlichen Leitung der AGA-Komitees.

Seien Sie jeweils von 19 – 21 Uhr (CET) dabei und genießen Sie eine hochkarätige Live-Sendung mit einem spannenden Mix aus Kurzvorträgen, Videos, Falldiskussionen, Zuschauervotings und Q&A. Verfolgen Sie die interaktive TV-Serie bequem von zu Hause und erhalten Sie so Ihr monatliches Fortbildungsupdate mit konkreten Tipps & Tricks für Ihre tägliche Praxis.

Als besonderes Highlight findet immer im Anschluss an das TV-Programm die „AGAftershow“ statt – das neue monatliche Get-Together der AGA-Community. Ab 20:50 Uhr laden wir Sie via Zoom zum persönlichen Austausch mit Kolleginnen und Kollegen in ungezwungenem Setting ein – treten Sie dem Meeting ganz einfach unter der Rubrik „Breakouts“ im Livecenter bei und treffen Sie sich virtuell auf ein Glas Bier oder Wein in dieser außergewöhnlichen Zeit.

CME-Zertifizierung:
Die Fortbildung richtet sich an Fachärzte für Orthopädie und Unfallchirurgie, Sport- und Rehabilitationsmediziner und Physiotherapeuten sowie an Hausärzte und Allgemeinmediziner. Die Post-Live-Version war von der Landesärztekammer Baden-Württemberg vom 20.05.2021-20.05.2022 zertifiziert. Während diesem Zeitpunkt konnten Sie 6 CME-Punkte erwerben.

AGA-Curriculum:
Teilnehmende am AGA-Curriculum können weiterhin 1,5 Theoriestunden im Modul 11 (Hüfte Aufbaukurs) sammeln. Grundvoraussetzung für die Zertifizierung ist der digitale Nachweis der Online-Sitzungsteilnahme (erfolgt automatisch über die Winglet-Plattform) sowie die erfolgreiche Absolvierung der Lernerfolgskontrolle.

Die Live-Teilnahme war kostenfrei. Die im Anschluss verfügbare Post-Live-Version kann kostenpflichtig für 29 € erworben werden. Für AGA-Mitglieder ist auch diese kostenfrei (Gutscheincode erhältlich über das AGA-Sekretariat).

Despite high standards and even though new concepts to prevent periprosthetic joint infections (PJI) are considered a key factor for successful arthroplasty, there’s no international consensus yet. Let’s take a deeper look at the practice of PJI prevention in specific countries.

In cooperation with PALACADEMY^®, the learning and knowledge platform for bone and joint surgery by Heraeus Medical, we present a multi-hub event which gives insights from the Dutch experience. Experts from the Netherlands discuss “Current Concepts of Infection Prevention in Arthroplasty Patients”. By sharing their clinical practice, presenting scientific data and discussing the state of the art, our experts cover questions like: How can risk for infection be defined? Do high risk patients need special treatment? Which local preventive measures are promising? How should systemic antibiotics be used for prevention? What is the role of dual antibiotic-loaded bone cements?

Research enthusiasts watch out! With our new Winglet Journal Club we offer a unique digital format for the critical appraisal and discussion of the most recent scientific publications in the field of Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery. Under the scientific direction of Professor Philipp Niemeyer, MD and Svea Faber, MD the very latest papers are selected and structurally summarized in a standardized video format.

Once a month, we invite you to a virtual live discussion on Monday evening from 19-20 CET. Participate live and engage in highly interesting discussions with international colleagues of varying seniority. Following the motto "First the facts - then the discussion" you can watch, pause and repeat the video summary in our online live center on the day of the event from 19 CET. The live discussion takes place via Zoom and starts at 19:15 CET. In order to participate, simply log into the Zoom conference under the “Breakouts” section in the online live center (below the video). The number of participants is limited to 20 - first come, first served.

If you cannot take part in the live discussion, there is the option of holding a Journal Club as usual with colleagues in the clinic, practice or at home whenever your time allows, using the permanently available video summary.

Nach dem Motto "Erst die Fakten - dann die Diskussion“ können Sie die Videozusammenfassung am Eventtag ab 19:00 Uhr direkt im Livecenter aufrufen, pausieren und wiederholen. Die Live-Diskussion findet via Zoom statt und startet pünktlich um 19:15 Uhr. Loggen Sie sich hierfür ganz einfach unter der Rubrik „Breakouts“ im Livecenter in die Zoom-Konferenz ein. Die Teilnahmezahl ist auf 20 Personen limitiert - first come, first served.

Periprosthetic joint infections are still one of the most challenging complications in arthroplasty. Patients at high risk for infection are more and more considered to be the key group, where PJI risk can and must be decreased.

In cooperation with PALACADEMY®, the learning and knowledge platform for bone and joint surgery by Heraeus Medical, we present a TV Event which asks “How can we improve PJI prevention? Avoiding infection with ALBC in high risk patients”. International experts from all over Europe share their experiences in case discussions and present their study data. Discuss with our experts: How can risk for infection be defined? How should high risk patients be treated? Which strategies are promising? What is the role of dual antibiotic-loaded bone cements?

The CME accredited online training is designed for specialists in orthopedic and trauma surgery, sports medicine and rehabilitation. The training is certified by the State Medical Association Baden-Wuerttemberg. As of the event date, you will be able to complete the CME quiz for a period of 12 months and earn 6 CME credits.

Zum ersten Mal seit 37 Jahren gibt es keinen Kongress der AGA – Gesellschaft für Arthroskopie und Gelenkchirurgie. Zum eigentlichen Kongresstermin 17.-19. September 2020 findet nun das innovative Digital-Format „AGAnywhere. Virtual. Global. Local“ statt. Das Online-Event bietet auf hohem wissenschaftlichen und klinischen Niveau Fort- und Weiterbildungsinhalte zu den gewohnten Themenblöcken aus der Gelenkchirurgie und Arthroskopie.

Unter der wissenschaftlichen Leitung von Prof. Dr. med. Markus Scheibel, PD Dr. med. Peter Koch und Dipl. Sportwiss. Dr. med. Tomas Buchhorn werden an den drei Eventtagen jeweils zwei deutschsprachige sowie eine englischsprachige wissenschaftliche Sitzung präsentiert. Jeder Tag stellt dabei einen Gelenkbereich in den Fokus.

Alle drei Kongresstage wurden mit jeweils 6 CME-Punkten zertifiziert. Zusätzlich sind die Sitzungen für das AGA-Kurskurrikulum anerkannt. Die Fortbildung richtet sich an konservativ und operativ tätige Orthopäden und Unfallchirurgen, Sport- und Rehabilitationsmediziner, Physiotherapeuten sowie an Hausärzte und Allgemeinmediziner. As you may be aware, our annual AGA Congress had to be cancelled due to the current COVID-19 situation. However, we are delighted to announce our exciting new live TV programme. The event is this year's highlight in the field of Arthroscopy and Joint Surgery. On all three congress days we will be offering three highly educational sessions with internationally renowned experts. The prime time sessions from 8:30–9:15 pm (CET) are held in English. Participation is free for all interested parties.
