Enduring back pain: What chances of success do conservative and surgical procedures offer? In cooperation with Bauerfeind AG, we are pleased to present a high-profile TV event on Wednesday, 1 June 2022 addressing the topic "Individual Treatment of Back Pain”. 

In the first half of the broadcast, Professor Bernhard Greitemann and Professor Hans-Raimund Casser, two authors of the German Disease Management Guideline (NDMG) on non-specific low back pain, will report on their multimodal therapy approaches when a chronic pain condition is present. Dr. Franz Landauer will present one possible treatment measure, technical orthopedics, together with the results of his meta-analysis published in early 2022. The second half, led by Professor Tobias Pitzen, will focus on specific back pain and surgical procedures, presenting special practical cases from surgical spine therapy.

Enjoy a hands-on continuing education opportunity with world-class spine experts, sharing their therapy experiences live. The session was held in German, with additional simultaneous interpretation available in English.

The advanced training is aimed at treatment providers of patients with back pain such as specialists in orthopedics, surgery and sports medicine, general practitioners, pain and rehabilitation physicians as well as physiotherapists and pain therapists.

Certification:
The event was certified by the German Medical Association from 08 June 2022-07 June 2023. During that period you were be able to complete the CME quiz and earn 4 CME credits.
