4th Biennial EPNS Caucasus Virtual Teaching Course
13 - 14 Nov 2020
Event details

The 4th EPNS Caucasus Teaching Course 2020 is going virtual!

Whilst the EPNS was hopeful to host this upcoming training course in person, the safety of the participants and faculty is paramount. After careful consideration, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic changing the way the world currently connects, they have made the decision to transition the 4th EPNS Teaching Course 2020 to a fully virtual event. This will help eliminate the limitations of having to travel to a single location and open the opportunity for more participants to attend.

This course has been designed with colleagues from the Eurasia area in mind (for example and including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Irak, Iran,  Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Republic of Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkey Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan). Trainees and qualified paediatric neurologists who want to refresh their knowledge on clinical presentation, diagnosis, and treatment options in neurometabolic diseases.

I will learn to
  • Understand the genetic and biochemical causes of neurometabolic disease
  • Understand the diagnostic tools including X-omics to diagnose neurometabolic diseases
  • Get to know the different clinical presentations of metabolic encephalopathies, and more specifically the treatable ones
  • Make a sensible differential diagnosis in a child with loss of skills due to a possible neurometabolic disease
